Existent Reality

Confidence in your path, not lingering upon doubts, these are the things that we wish to control, that we wish to clear up once and for all.  They are creatures of thought, a testament to the existence of reality, for which we are ever trying to figure out the one great answer, but they clear up not the existent reality, the one we are ever trying to be aware of.  It is a fact that certain things exist only because we believe in them, but it is also true that their coming into existence is only based upon our thought process, and so this pride-worthy attitude is built up within us that many things in this world belong to our ego, and need our ego for their existence.  This is why our thoughts become so important to us because they provide existence to the void, and even if they raise doubt, they give us the impression that we are the bearers of our destiny.  Giving life and finding sureness in the dark is often turning away from reality, and even if we find in it compassion, we almost too swiftly set out again before enjoying the full comforts of that most intimate moment.
